TTC Wilson Yard Application Software

DESCRIPTION

Condor subcontracted to Thales Canada to design, test and commission Thales SSI application software for the Toronto Transit Commission’s Wilson yard. The yard was broken into 8 zones, with the design, testing and commissioning spanning 6 stages. Condor’s scope of work was as follows:

TASKS

Produce design drawings for the vital and non-vital relay equivalent circuits
Produce SSI compatible Boolean equations based on the equivalent circuits
Generate test procedures for both the SAT and commissioning tests
Perform verification testing (SAT) at Thales lab
Perform commissioning testing in the field
Design and build an interface rack to allow the existing and new circuitry to communicate
Produce circuits and software to interface with other signal contractors (Alstom)
